This Privacy Policy explains what information MusicLFG collects, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to musiclfg.com (the “Site”) and the MusicLFG private beta (the “Beta”).
1. Information we collect
Information you give us:
- Email address, name, and any other info you submit on signup forms or beta applications
- Wallet address, if you connect one
- Messages you send us
Information we collect automatically:
- IP address, browser type, device info, operating system
- Pages visited, referral source, timestamps
- Cookies and similar tracking technology
2. How we use it
We use your information to:
- Send beta access info, product updates, and account communications
- Operate, secure, and improve the Site and Beta
- Respond to your questions
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
3. Blockchain data is public and permanent
The Beta runs on the Avalanche Fuji testnet. Any wallet address you connect, transaction you initiate, or on-chain action you take is recorded on a public, third-party blockchain. We do not control the blockchain. We cannot delete, edit, or reverse anything written to it.
Do not submit information to the Beta that you do not want to be public and permanent.
4. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the Site (email, analytics, hosting, customer support), under confidentiality obligations
- Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety
- A successor entity in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets
5. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar tools for basic Site function, security, and analytics (which may include providers like Google Analytics or similar). You can disable cookies in your browser; some Site features may stop working.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted to or stored by us.
7. Your choices and rights
- Email: unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email
- Access, correction, deletion: email us to request a copy of your information, correction, or deletion
- State law rights: residents of California, Colorado, Virginia, and certain other states have additional rights (to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, etc.). Contact us to exercise them
We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. We cannot delete information already written to the blockchain.
8. Children
The Site and Beta are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the Site and Beta, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Blockchain records persist independently of our retention practices.
10. International users
We are based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US under US law, which may differ from your jurisdiction’s law.
11. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect changes. Continued use of the Site or Beta means you accept the updated policy.
